L’Échappée Vosgienne is committed to ensuring the Gérardmer Cycling Grand Prix continues!

In recent weeks, Vélo Sport Gérômois has been searching for a new sponsor to ensure the future of its Summer Grand Prix, a flagship event in local cycling. With the future of this iconic race uncertain, L’Échappée Vosgienne decided to commit fully to supporting this wonderful event and ensuring its continuation.

A must-see event under threat

The Gérardmer Summer Grand Prix was in danger of disappearing due to a lack of funding. This event, which brings the town to life every July 13 by kicking off the summer festivities and bringing together numerous cyclists, is much more than just a race: it is a moment of sharing, performance, and passion for cycling.

We couldn't imagine seeing this race disappear. Cycling is part of the Vosges' DNA, and we can't imagine such an event coming to an end.

As a lodging and training center dedicated to athletes, it made sense for us to partner with this historic event. We firmly believe that sports should be accessible, supported, and encouraged, and that local competitions play a key role in the momentum of cycling in France by inspiring young people to take up the sport.
